student/reader of the week
Kyle was chosen student of the week for his class. Every Friday they have an assembly to announce the students & the parents are invited. I get there and of course Kyle is embarrassed & won't look at me. They gave all the students of the week a certificate & they got to choose something from the treasure chest. Then the principal read them a story. After the story they gave out the reading awards & Kyle got 'reader of the week' out of all the Kindergartners! I was so excited, his teacher didn't tell me about that award. He is such a smart little boy & I am so proud of him. Good job Ky!!

Way to go! That last bit is hilarious! Taylor's teacher is in our ward too, so we threaten her in sacrament meeting that she better be good and sit still because her teacher is watching! Mean I know but hey, whatever works!

How are you hanging in there with the guys gone? This is the longest Chris & I have been apart so it's a little hard. Kyle looks so cute. That's great that he's doing so well in school. Doesn't it seem like we were just there? lol
Ok, this might be so random and I hope you remember us. I was reading Kim Seemans blog today and I saw the JOhnson family as one of her links, so I clicked onit and saw that it was you guys. We were in the Grandview ward with you and I grew up with Bryans younger brothers. Anyway, you live in our old ward. We were in the Johnson Ranch ward and then it split into the Desert HIlls ward. I think it is so funny that we have ended up in so many of the same placed. How long have you lived there?
We have been in AZ for 2 years now. We started in Queen Creek and now we live in Power Ranch in Gilbert. So How long have you been in that ward? You probably know a bunch of my friends. Do you like it?
