We're moving!!

There are NOT suppose to be scorpions at my new house. I have lived in AZ my entire life(except for the 5 years we were in CO) & I have never ever had scorpions. And now that we found a home that we are suppose to live in for a long time and we find one. My babies live here! How am I suppose to protect them now? OK, maybe I'm being a little dramatic, but those things creepy. And it was dead or at least dying which is good because we just got sprayed. So hopefully that means the spray is working. I do have to blame this on Carrie because she just had to go and announce that they are back, inviting them all to come back. If you can't tell that thing is huge. I think that means that it is not as poisonous, unless it is some crazy kind that is different from the rest and is deadly. That's it, we're moving!

OH Cara! Don't worry, you are not overreacting! Every time I move the first thing I do is scout for Scorpions! Need a black light? Thanks for your last comment on my blog, Brett thought it was hilarious...and totally agreed!

We have them at my MOMs too. We never had them til we moved over here. I hate them. But don't worry we lived in this house for like 10 years and I only think one of my sisters ever got stung. and the bigger ones are less poinonous. The babies are because they can't control it.

Scorpions suck! We had them at our house on Edgewood, they were creepy! I don't remember anyone on our family getting stung, just one of our neighbor's (she was stung all the time, but no one else was-weird?) Make sure to shake out your shoes before you put them on. I did that for years after I moved out, it was just habit.

Jareds parents have scorpions and almost everyone has been stung. I don't care I am still a big baby when it comes to them. I have heard the bigger the better? It doesn't matter to me! Good Luck.

Ya, that thing is GROSS! Ummm you live in the desert though... so just get a chicken to run around your backyard and you will never have scorpions, or any other bugs for that matter! Just don't bring them to my house!

That is nasty, I am not a scorpion fan at all. I hope you don't have any more. The joy of living in Arizona!

Yikes. That thing was huge. I think the bigger guys are supposed to be less poisonous but I've never been stung so I don't know for sure. I would have freaked out but I bet your boys thought it was pretty cool.

I am soooo sorry!! Thats why I don't like to talk about them, it's like they can hear you and then come a runnin. Good news though that is was dying and like Tricia said, "the bigger the better" right? Creepy creepy, hopefully that is the last of them. I just had a hive of bees in my yard too...so watch out : ) Arizona is awesome ; )
