Poor Trevor ;(

We were at Kyle's t-ball practice today & Trevor is sitting in his lawn chair chewing on his shoe lace (you know, like most people do). He comes over to me with his mouth full of blood and says "Mom, I lost a tooth!" I was like " Cool, I didn't even know that you had a loose tooth." He said "I didn't, I was just chewing on my shoe lace and it just came out." I gave him a Kleenex to clean up the blood & was trying to figure out why my 7 year old was chewing on his shoe lace. He said that his shoe lace was tied too tight and he was trying to get undone it with his teeth. A few minutes later he came back over to show me. I looked and said, " Your missing 2 teeth!" He totally ripped 2 teeth out of his mouth with his shoe lace. OUCH! At least they were baby teeth. The 2 teeth in between them were permanent. We started looking all over for the 2nd tooth. We never found it. I don't know if he swallowed it or if it was lost in the grass. After the game we were walking over to Bry's truck to load our stuff. The whole time Trevor was talking about how he wanted to take it to school to show everyone, then he goes to get in the car (while holding his tooth) and then yell's "My tooth!" He dropped down the storm drain. He was so sad that he cried for almost an hour. The only thing he has to show for it is the 2 holes in his mouth.

Oh my gosh! Are you kidding me?? I SO do NOT do teeth related emergencies! AGH!

Wow, Tooth Fairy will be working late at your house, does he get paid for the tooth you couldn't find... You'd better email the tooth fairy and find out about that one...

Ummmmm, OUCH!! Poor Trevor. Hopefully the toothfairy hooked him up, especially since this was a painful loss.

What a crazy story. Losing teeth out of your mouth is a fun thing but losing them forever is a bummer. Poor guy! My kids try to make teeth out of paper and trick the tooth fairy all the time. Maybe Trevor should try this!

Wow!!! What a tough kid!!! That is amazing!! I've heard plenty of stories about how teeth get knocked out, but that's just CRAZY! Maybe they out to put warning labels on shoe laces! lol
It was fun seeing you last week!

that is funny he was chewing on his shoe lace. He must have been chewing pretty hard trying to get it undone if he ripped 2 teeth out! Him crying for an hour after he lost the one reminded me of when he left his Pokemon cards at our house and cried and cried because he thought they were lost.

Oooh, that's so sad! Poor Trevor! At least he had lost a few before so it wasn't like his very first lost tooth. That is so sad!

Boys will be boys. . .much like puppies with the chewing and all! Hey, I've meant to ask you for a while now. Where were your family photos taken? I'd love to get a few of my kids there.
